Dr. Faisal Majeed is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the London School of Applied Business and Technology. He holds a PhD in Business Management from the University of Bolton, United Kingdom, an MSc in International Business and Management from the University of Bedfordshire, and an MBA in Marketing — bringing over a decade of combined academic excellence, applied research, and commercial leadership across the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and South Asia.
Dr. Majeed currently serves as a Lecturer and Module Leader for the Principles of Marketing module within the MSc International Business Management programme at Ulster University (QAHE), where he also supervises postgraduate dissertations at Level 7. He additionally supervises undergraduate dissertations at London Metropolitan University. His teaching portfolio spans Research Methods, Business Strategy, Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management, International Business, and Marketing Management.
Dr. Majeed designs and delivers lectures, seminars, and interactive learning activities that integrate real-world business case studies with contemporary academic research — ensuring students are equipped not only with knowledge, but with the analytical and strategic capabilities demanded by today's global marketplace.
A prolific and widely published researcher, Dr. Majeed has contributed to some of the most respected peer-reviewed journals in his field. His research encompasses AI-driven cybersecurity in mobile financial services, Islamic digital banking, SME innovation and resilience in the UAE, digital transformation in hospitality, and AI-enabled consumer behaviour in fashion retail. In 2025 alone, he published more than ten research papers across leading international journals.
In May 2025, Dr. Majeed was invited as a Keynote Speaker and Published Author at the Global Impact Connect 2025 conference at Ulster University's QAHE Birmingham Campus — a conference dedicated to advancing research, education, and innovation. He serves as a Peer Reviewer for the Social Responsibility Journal (Emerald Publishing) and has a manuscript currently under review with the Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development (Emerald).
Prior to returning to academia, Dr. Majeed gained extensive international business experience as Marketing and Purchase Head at Alsefaah General Trading in Dubai — a leading FMCG distributor — and as a Business Development Executive at Sky UK. Earlier in his career, he held a Senior Lecturer role at King Saud University in Riyadh, where he served as Chief Organiser of an internationally acclaimed workshop at the first high-tech business incubation centre in the Middle East and delivered a keynote address on Business Strategies to an international audience.
